Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
Your privacy is important to us. At ResuPro, we follow a few fundamental principles:
- We are thoughtful about the personal information we ask you to provide and that we collect through our services.
- We store personal information only as long as we have a reason to keep it.
- We aim to make it simple for you to control what information is shared publicly or kept private.
- We aim for full transparency on how we gather, use, and share your personal information.
Information We Collect
We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so — for example, to provide our Services, to communicate with you, or to make our Services better. We collect information in three ways: when you provide it, automatically through operating our Services, and from outside sources.
Information You Provide
Account Information: We require an email address to create an account — that's it. You may provide additional information like your name, but we don't require it.
Content Information: Depending on the Services you use, you may provide us with information such as resume content, including biographic information.
Communications: You may provide information when you respond to surveys or communicate with us about a support problem.
Information Collected Automatically
Usage Information: We collect information about your usage of our Services — actions performed, page views, features used, and device information (screen size, network, device manufacturer). We use this to improve our Services.
Cookies & Similar Technologies: ResuPro uses cookies and technologies like pixel tags to identify and track visitors, usage, and access preferences, as well as to understand email campaign effectiveness.
Information from Other Sources
If you create or log into your ResuPro account through another service (like Google), we receive information from that service (such as your username and basic profile information) via its authorization procedures.
How We Use Information
- To provide our Services — set up and maintain your account, store your resume
- To develop and improve our Services by adding features and improving usability
- To monitor and analyze trends and understand how users interact with our Services
- To measure the effectiveness of our communications and understand user retention
- To protect the security of our Services, detect fraud, fight spam, and protect rights
- To communicate with you about updates, offers, and to solicit feedback
- To personalize your experience and provide content recommendations
Sharing Information
We do not sell our users' private personal information.
Employees & Contractors: We may disclose information to employees and contractors who need it to provide our Services. They are required to follow this Privacy Policy.
Third Party Vendors: We may share information with vendors who help provide our Services — including payment providers, email delivery services, customer support services, marketing tools, and analytics providers.
Legal Requests: We may disclose information in response to a subpoena, court order, or other governmental request.
Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale, or acquisition, user information may be transferred. This Privacy Policy would continue to apply to your information.
Your Choices
Limit Information: You can use ResuPro without an account. If you don't have an account, nothing you create is saved. We only require an email to create an account.
Opt-Out of Communications: You may opt out of promotional messages by following the instructions in those messages or through your account settings.
Reject Cookies: ResuPro adheres to "do not track" signals. You can set your browser to remove or reject cookies.
Close Your Account: You can close your account from your dashboard. All of your data will be permanently deleted.
Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in countries under the scope of the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request correction or deletion of your personal data
- Object to our use and processing of your personal data
- Request that we limit our use and processing of your personal data
